Knee lift Surgery
Knee lift surgery was widely introduced the world by Demi Moore, but there is really very little information about the subject available. The area of skin at the knee can sometimes sag down and it seems that in some cases no amount of rigorous exercise can get it to go back in place! A knee lift is a relatively new cosmetic surgery procedure, many had never heard of it until the Hollywood star had the operation.
It is documented that many doctors and cosmetic surgeons advise against knee lifts as the Knees are one of the hardest areas of the body to have cosmetic surgery on because there is nowhere to hide the scarring; and there’s no stable place to anchor the stitches. In a breast lift the scars are under the breast, in a brow lift the scars are hidden behind the hair line. A knee lift obviously involves removing the sagging skin, so of course there is going to be some scarring, and as the area of skin on the knee is always moving with the knee joint, it could take a while to heal fully.
Knee lifts are occasionally performed on people who have lost a lot of their body weight. Risks involved in knee lift operations are mainly the scarring, it is very unlikely that there is going to be no scarring after a knee lift operation, perhaps potential patients should consider liposuction and a long term exercise regime rather than going under the knee lift knife!
