Preparing for cosmetic surgery

You should realise that preparing for cosmetic surgery is firstly a mental issue. This is something you should be completely sure about. And it must be stressed that research is extremely important. A little bit of homework can mean the difference between a procedure gone wrong or not!

Once you have made the decision to go ahead with the cosmetic surgery and you have organised everything to the last detail you will start to panic. This is normal! • Do not take and aspirin or anti-inflammatory medications


• Depending on your surgery you may want to foresee to things such as a hand-held shower head and bathroom chair


• Make sure you have organised someone to drive you to and from the cosmetic surgery clinic


• Prepare and freeze meals so that you do not have to spend time cooking


• Prepare icepacks


• Eye drops may be useful as eyes tend to dry out after surgery

If you follow all instructions your cosmetic surgeon has given you the entire procedure and recovery will be over in no time and you will be able to admire the results.
